Maggie LaMonica is a New York City-based actress and writer. Originally from the bluegrass of Lexington, Kentucky, Maggie came to the City for a modeling career, and began studying acting. She has performed on stage, film, and television with extensive experience in improv, hosting and scene study and has written and performed in a complete library of short plays, films, and skits. She has worked with incredible coaches and mentors, including the legendary Sheila Gray. Her favorite stage roles include Rosie in Simpatico, Juror Number 10 in Twelve Angry Women and Kim in It’s Not the Same Thing, a short play written by her husband and performed in NSPF Season 7. She has appeared in several films, including her most recent favorite role as Renee Laurent in Self Portrait. She is thrilled to be a part of the Red Lipstick Gang, a sketch group for woman of a certain age. She currently is co-hosting a podcast, Love, Life, and Everything In-Between, addressing current topics personal, serious, and funny. She is a devoted wife to husband, Chris and loving auntie to seven awesome nieces and nephews. Her interests include fashion, styling, decorating, and cooking.
